Questions about the books

What is a good coloring book for quilters?

The Christmas Quilt Coloring Book by Cameron Skylark has 50 patchwork designs, one per page, with dashed lines that look like quilting stitches. The Modern Quilt Coloring Book is Book 1 in the same series. Quilters often use them to try out colorways on paper before cutting fabric.

Is there a large print word search for seniors?

Yes. The Large Print Christmas Word Search for Seniors has 60 holiday puzzles, one per full 8.5 x 11 inch page, with big bold letters. Words run across, down and diagonally, none are spelled backwards, and every answer is in the back of the book.

Which book is best for a toddler?

My First Christmas Coloring Book is made for ages 1 to 4. It has 50 big, simple pictures with thick lines, like Santa, reindeer and snowmen, and the name of each picture is printed underneath so you can say the word together while they color.

What are the Mae & Milo books?

They are coloring storybooks for kids ages 4 to 8 from Tint Treasure. In Big Top Daydream, Grandma takes Mae and Milo to the circus, and they help Pip the puppy be brave. In Snowy Christmas Quilt, Grandma’s magic quilt flies them to a snow wonderland on Christmas Eve to help a little reindeer fly. Kids read each page, then color it. Free read-alouds are on the YouTube channel.

What is a good Christmas gift for a grandparent?

For Grandma or Grandpa, the Large Print Christmas Word Search for Seniors has 60 easy-to-read holiday puzzles. A grandma who quilts will love the Christmas Quilt Coloring Book. And if a grandparent is shopping for the grandkids, the Mae & Milo storybooks are all about two kids and their Grandma, so they make a sweet gift to read together.

How big are the pages?

Most of the books are large 8.5 x 11 inch paperbacks, the size of a sheet of printer paper. That leaves roomy spaces to color and big, clear print in the word search.

Will markers bleed through the pages?

The Christmas Quilt, My First Christmas and Mae & Milo books print one picture per page with a blank back, so marker bleed does not ruin the next picture. For any book, slipping a sheet of paper behind the page you are coloring helps.

Are these coloring books good for beginners?

Yes. The designs use bold lines and roomy spaces, so colored pencils, gel pens and crayons all work. You fill one shape at a time, which makes them relaxing for adults and older kids who are new to coloring.

Who are Cameron Skylark and Tint Treasure?

They are the two book collections from By Erica Rachell. Cameron Skylark has the cozy quilt coloring books, holiday books and puzzles. Tint Treasure has the bright geometric circus coloring books for adults and the Mae & Milo coloring storybooks for kids.

Where can I buy the books?

Every book is sold on Amazon. Amazon prints and ships them, so they work with Prime shipping where it’s offered. Use the See it on Amazon button under any book on this page.

Hi, I’m Erica

I make coloring books for anyone who wants a calm hour with their colored pencils: cozy quilt patterns, holiday planners, and bright geometric designs with a circus twist.

Every book is planned to be easy to enjoy: bold lines, roomy spaces, one page at a time. All of them are printed and shipped by Amazon. For little ones, I read the kids’ books aloud on YouTube so they can watch the story, then color it.
